Being inert (Both Argon & Helium are inert.) wrt breathing purposes, it is an asphyxiant and must not be inhaled.
Its main characteristics are clear splatter-free welds combined with broader beads and deeper penetration.
Due to the nature of the mixture, a low-intensity arc is produced which is suitable for low melting point materials..
Applications
ARGON HE25 is a mixture of 75% Argon blended with 25% Helium is an inert gas mixture of Argon and Helium that can produce welds of better quality.

Hazards
ARGON HE25 is a mixture of 75% Argon with 25% Helium and is a totally inert gas mixture and as such an asphyxiant.
In confined and poorly ventilated spaces, if allowed to build up and displace the air being breathed, it will In high concentrations cause asphyxiation.
Initial symptoms include loss of mobility followed by loss of consciousness.
The affected person will most likely neither sense nor be aware of this which makes it essential that such a situation is to be avoided.
It is however non-toxic and non-flammable.
